IMPORTANT NOTICE

Sub: Extended 2^nd round of PG Counselling-2009 for allotment of MD/ MS/ Diploma (Medical) and MDS seats under 50% All India Quota-2009.

In compliance to the Hon’ble Supreme Court Order dated 26^th May, 2009 passed in I.A. No. 1 of Writ Petition No. 216/2009 (Dr. Smitha & Ors Vs Union of India & Anr), there will be an Extended 2^nd round of Post Graduate Counselling-2009 from 31^st May, 2009 to 8^th June, 2009 at CHEB Building, Kotla Road (Opposite Mata Sundari College for Women), New Delhi – 110 002. The Extended 2^nd Round of the Counseling will be conducted at Delhi Counseling Venue only.

The schedule for extended 2^nd round of PG counseling under 50% All India Quota-2009 to be held from 31^st May, 2009 to 8^th June, 2009 is as under:

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES TO ATTEND EXTENDED 2^ND ROUND OF 50% ALL INDIA PG (MEDICAL/DENTAL) COUNSELLING-2009

1 Counseling will be held as per Category Rank (UR/SC/ST/PH) only.

2 The candidates already taken admission in PG Medical/Dental seats as per seat/college opted during 2^nd round of counseling under 50% All India Quota 2009 and desirous of taking part in extended 2^nd round of counseling must bring the admission slip, admission fee receipts and Undertaking duly signed and stamped by the Principal of the Allotted Colleges in the prescribed performa as mentioned in the Prospectus as proof of admission to the earlier college along with photocopy of Admit Card & Rank letter duly attested by a Gazetted officer.

1 The Undertaking Form for change of college/course should be signed by the Principal on or after 27^th May, 2009. The Undertaking from signed by the Dean/Principal before the 27.05.2009 will not be entertained at any case.

2 All the candidates who have appeared in the 2^nd round of PG Counseling-2009 and rejected the seat by retaining the seat allotted during the 1^st round of PG Counselling will also be eligible for Extended 2^nd round of PG Counselling-2009.

3 The candidate who did not report in the 2^nd round of counseling and marked as absent at their rank will not be eligible for extended 2^nd round of counseling.

4 The candidate who was allotted the seat/college during the 2^nd round of counseling but did not report/resigned/surrendered etc. will not be eligible for extended 2^nd round of counseling 2009.
