In continuation of this office reference 2nd cited, all the Deputy Directors of Health Services are informed that the Assistant Surgeons who have been selected by Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission and completed two years of service only are Eligible to appear for PG Course 2009-2010. as a service candidate.
The Government in the reference 3rd cited has issued instructions that in respect of Assistant Surgeons appointed on contract basis and brought into time scale w.e.f. 01.11.06, subsequently, passed Special Qualifying Examination, that their services can be taken into account from 1.11.06 for appearing PG Entrance and Eligible to appear as a service candidate. Further they are not eligible for any other service benefits.
The Deputy Director of Health Services are requested to adhere the following instructions while forwarding the PG applications for 2009-2010 without fail.
- That the candidate is selected by Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission,
- They have completed 2 years of service Exclusive of Ex-ordinary Leave without pay and allowances/unauthorised absence period.
- The contract Medical Consultant who have brought into time scale subsequently passed TNPSC transferred and joined from other Institutions, the leave particulars may be obtained from previous stations and ascertain whether they have completed two years Excluding Ex-ordinary Leave / unauthorised absence.
- No 10 (a) (i) candidate should be allowed to undergo PG Course without obtaining resignation.
Further, the list of candidates selected for the PG Courses may also be sent to this office for taking further action.
