IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR ALL CANDIDATES

 

1              The candidates must read the Prospectus and Rank Letter carefully before appearing in the Counseling and follow the instructions given therein.

2              The Counselling will be held as per the CATEGORY RANK (UR/SC/ST&PH) only (as shown on Rank Letter issued by AIIMS, New Delhi) and NOT as per the “Over All Rank”.

3              OBC candidates should report for counseling as per their UR Category rank shown in Rank Letter issued by AIIMS, New Delhi.

4              Candidates should report at their counseling venues as mentioned in their Rank Letters.

5              The seats will be allotted to the candidates as per the extended 5200 point Reservation Roster.

6              The request for change of counseling-venue will not be entertained; therefore, the Candidates must attend the counseling at the counseling-venue already mentioned in their Rank Letters.

7.      Candidates should bring all documents in original as mentioned in page No.8-11 , para No.12(b) of the Prospectus  and in Rank letter for verification during the counseling. Candidates must bring their Original Certificates to appear in the counseling, otherwise they will not be allowed to attend the counseling.

8.  Candidates must visit / watch this website (web-page), the website of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare daily during the Counseling period for revised schedule (if any) and any other counseling related instructions.

9.      SC,ST, UR-PH,SC-PH and ST-PH candidates should report 3 counseling days in advance of their scheduled date of counseling but not before the date of commencing (start) of counseling. The candidates, who have reported in advance may or may not get the seat allotted on the same day. If they do not get the seats allotted on the same day, they will be allotted the seats on the following days/dates as mentioned in the schedule. Hence, they should make arrangements at least for 3-4 days stay in the city of the counseling venue.

If SC, ST & PH candidates fail to report in advance, he/she will be treated as absent and will not be entertained for counseling even on the specified date as mentioned in the counseling schedule and claim for a seat shall be forfeited.

 

10.    There may be possibility that on the last day of first round of counseling SC and ST candidates may not be available. In this situation reservation roster cannot be filled, as a result Directorate General of Health Services will not be able to allot seats even to UR Category candidates. Vice versa may also happen. These UR (or SC/ST) candidates will be considered for allotment of seat in the second round of counseling at their rank.

 

11.    All qualified Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates are requested to send copy of their PH certificate issued by designated Disability Assessment Boards constituted at the 4 metro cities immediately by Fax (on Fax no. 011-23061907 or 011- 23012016 and by speed post (To, Assistant Director General (ME), Room no. 352, A – Wing, Nirman Bhawan, Maulana Azad Road, New Delhi 110 011) along with their PH rank number, email id and telephone/ mobile numbers for further communication. The designated Disability Assessment Boards are as under:

1              Vardhman Mahavir Medical College & Safdarjung Hospital, Ansari Nagar, (Ring Road), New Delhi‐110029.

2              All India Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Hazi Ali Park, K. Khadya Marg, Mahalaxmi, Mumbai‐400034.

3              Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education & Research, 244 Archarya J.C. Bose Marg, Kolkatta‐700020.

4              Madras Medical College, Park Town, Chennai‐600003.

Important notice for qualified Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates

{Reference Prospectus All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance

Examination-2012(AIPGMEE-2012) [MD/MS/Diploma and MDS

Courses] for admission to postgraduate medical courses for

Admission to 50% of total seats on all India basis 

para number 11(a) and 14}

As per Medical Council of India Post Graduate Medical Education Regulations 2000(amended up to December, 2010) subclause 9(1) (a)

“1(a).  3%seats of the annual sanctioned intake capacity shall be filled up by candidates with loco motor disability of lower limbs between 50% to 70%.

Provided that in case any seat in this 3%quota remains unfilled on account of unavailability of candidates with locomotor disability of lower limbs between 50% to 70% then any such unfilled seat in this 3% quota shall be filled up by persons with locomotor disability of lower limbs between 40% to 50%-before they are included in the annual sanctioned seats for General Category candidates.”

All qualified physically handicapped (PH) candidates are requested to keep themselves certified immediately at one of the under mentioned Disability Assessment Boards constituted at the 4 metro cities:

5              Vardhman Mahavir Medical College & Safdarjung Hospital, Ansari Nagar, (Ring Road), New Delhi‐110029.

6              All India Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Hazi Ali Park, K.Khadya Marg, Mahalaxmi, Mumbai‐400034.

All qualified physically handicapped candidates may please note that on the basis of the Disability certificate issued by one of the 4 above mentioned Disability Assessment Boards only candidates will be permitted to appear in counseling subject to declaration of eligibility under PH category.

    guys……. watever rank u get never ever opt for anesthesia in stanley medical college!!!!!!!! the worst place and people u wud hav ever seen…..u cant afford to lose a life for carrier…. its true. ur well wisher!!!!!!!
