REGISTRATION

The registration for allotment of seats for admission into various MD/MS/Diploma courses will be held on Sunday, March 18, 2012 at Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, HIHT University. Candidates who have secured Rank No. 1 to 140 in the PostGraduate Medical Entrance Examination (PGMEE) – 2012 (held on Sunday, 19th Feb 2012) shall register themselves for allotment of seats.

REPORTING TIME

For Candidates Securing Rank 1 to 70 reporting time is 09:00 a.m.

For Candidates Securing Rank 71 to 140 reporting time is 01:00 p.m.

ALLOTMENT

After the Registration, allotment of seats will also be done on Sunday , March 18, 2012.
Registered Candidates will remain present in person or through authorized representative with all the following documents in original,
alongwith 2 sets of attested photocopies of the same.

(a) Admit Card of PGMEE – 2012.
(b) Call letter issued by University for counseling.
(c) MBBS degree/Provisional passing certificate.
(d) Mark sheets of MBBS examinations (all professional examinations).
(e) Internship completion certificate/certificate from the head of the institution that the
candidate will be completing the internship by 31st March 2012.
(f) Valid permanent/provisional registration certificate issued by MCI/State Medical council.
(g) High School/Higher Secondary School certificate for proof of date of birth.
(h) Recent Character certificate from the head of the institution last attended/or from a Gazetted officer.
(i) Caste certificate in case of O.B.C./S.C./S.T. candidates.
(j) Migration Certificate.
(k) Affidavit against ragging from candidate & parent as per appendix – VI & VII of PGMEE – 2012 brochure
(To be given on a non – judicial notarized stamp paper of Rs. 10/- each).
(l) Six recent coloured passport size photographs.

In case you are unable to appear in person on the notified date, please send an authorized
representative with an authority & undertaking letter (as per appendix IV & V of Information brochure)
along with requisite original documents. The allotment made to the authorized representative shall be
binding on you.If you or your representative do not appear for counseling, it will be presumed that you
are not interested in taking the admission. Please note that there is no provision for second counseling.

Fee Structure for MD/MS/Diploma courses will be as follows:

This fee does not include enrolment fee (Rs. 500),hostel & mess charges and the same will be charged separately.

Hostel charges for P.G. Hostel is Rs. 72,000/- P.A. & that for U.G. Hostel is Rs. 48,000/- P.A.

In case a candidate is not able to complete the course in stipulated period of time,
extra fees shall be charged.

Once a candidate joins the course, and he/she wants to discontinue it after 15th May 2012,
he/she has to deposit the fees for the entire course.

* University examination fees will be charged extra as applicable from time to time.

Mode of payment:
Annual fee has to be deposited in the form of D.D. (Demand Draft) payable to “HIHT University”
at S.B.I. Jolly Grant, Dehradun (Branch Code – 10580).

Note : No admission will be done without depositing the admission fee (Rs. 35,000) & Enrol. fee (Rs. 500).
Tuition fee can be paid in two equal six monthly intalments. First Instalment
can be deposited on the day of counseling itself or latest by 31st March, 2012.
Hostel shall be allotted only on deposition of requisite hostel fee.
All allotments are subject to verification of authenticity of facts from the original certificates / documents of the candidates. The decision of the Allotment Committee regarding the eligibility of any applicant shall be final. If any candidate fails to appear for counseling in person or through an authorized representative, he/she will not be entitled to any claim for seat in the MD/MS/Diploma courses.
