IN THE GOVERNMENT MEDICAL COLLEGES OF O DISHA – 2012

1. GENERAL INFORMATION :
1.1. Selection of candidates for Post-Graduate (Medical) Courses in three Government
Medical Colleges of Odisha, affiliated to three different Universities of Odisha shall be
conducted by the P.G. (Medical) Selection Committee.
1.2. The P.G. (Medical) Selection Committee – 2012 shall consist of:

1.3. Applications in the prescribed form are invited for selection of candidates for the
P.G. (Medical) Courses available at S.C.B. Medical College, Cuttack (Utkal
University), V.S.S. Medical College, Burla (Sambalpur University), M.K.C.G. Medical
College, Berhampur (Berhampur University) & Hitech Medical College, Bhubaneswar,
(Utkal University) for the year 2012.
2. COMMENCEMENT OF SESSION :
The admission will be made once a year. The academic session commences from
1st May 2012, unless otherwise notified.
3. DURATION OF THE COURSE :
3.1. The Post-Graduate (Medical) courses usually are of 3 years duration from the date
of commencement of the course i.e. 1st May 2012 subject to joining of the
candidate in the course.
3.2. Candidates having recognized P.G. Diploma shall be exempted one year from the
total duration of P.G. (Medical) Course pr ovided they under go P.G. (Medical)
Course in the same subject.4
4. AVAILABILITY OF SEATS :

4.2 PG Medical seats of HITECH Medical College, Bhubaneswar , are also to be filled up as
per the clauses of this prospectus. But the fee s tructure fixed by Govt. for private Medical
institution will be applicable. There will be no reservation for this private institution.

5. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA OF CANDIDATES :
The Candidate Must have passed M.B.B.S. Degree Examination from an
Institution recognized by Medical Council of India and must be any one of the following:
5.1. A permanent resident of Odisha (Fresh Certificate of Permanent Residence of
Odisha from a Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tahasildar of the area
concerned (in Form No.III, in Appendix II – B)
OR
5.2 The Son/Daughter/Spouse of any one of the follo wing category :
o Employees of Government of Odisha.
o All India Services belonging to Odisha Cadre serving within or outside Odisha.
o Public Sector undertaking of either State of Odisha or Govt. of India located
In Odisha.
o Defence Service personnel served for 5 years by 31.12.20115
5.3 Must have completed one year of Compulsory Rotatory Internship/ Houseman ship by
31st March 2012 (Direct Candidates).
5.4 Must have registered himself/herself with State/Central Council of Medical Registration.
5.5 Candidates who have completed o r undergoing P.G. (Medical) Course in any
subject o r have taken admission in P.G.(Medical) Course in any of the three
Govt. Medical Colleges of Odisha, but have not joined/discontinued after joining
within last 3(three) years, shall not be eligible to apply for P.G. (Medical) course.
6 CATEGORY OF CANDIDATES :
6.1 A Direct Candidate is one who at the time of application:
6.1.1 Is son/daughter/ spouse of a person who has served in Defence Service for minimum of
5 years by 31st December 2011.
6.1.2 Is either unemployed or in the employment of Government of Odisha, but not completed
five years of service which includes all categories of employment like contractual /
temporary / ad-hoc/ regular by 31st December, 2011
6.1.3 Is in the employment of Govt. of Orissa Public Sector Undertakings/ Govt. of India
Public Sector Undertakings located in Odisha. The employer has to sponsor the
candidates for entire period of course & must submit the sponsorship certificate as in
Appendix III.
6.2 An In-service candidate is one who at the time of application:
6.2.1 Is in the employment in Government of Odisha and has completed a le n gth o f 5
years of service which includes all categories of employment like contractual /
temporary / ad-hoc/ regular by 31st December, 2011, excluding at-a-stretch leave of
any kind, of 30 days or more. However the maternity leave is exempted from this
exclusion and shall be counted towards the length of five years of service.
Note: In-service and Direct candidates in employment under Government of Odisha at the time of
application are advised to submit their applications along with the required documents
directly to the Convenor, P.G. (Medical) Selection Committee – 2012, under intimation to
their Employer. Copy of such intimation is to be attached.
6.3 Seats reserved for S.T. and S.C. candidates are to be filed up by the applicants
belonging to the community as per the Odisha Caste Certificate (for S.C. and S.T.)
Rules – 1980 and as amended from time to time by Government of Odisha.
(Form No. V, in Appendix II – C).
Note: Schedules Caste/Scheduled Tribe persons who have migrated from their State of Origin to
some other State for the purpose of seeking education, employment etc. will be deemed to be
scheduled Caste/Tribe of the State of their Origin and will get privilege from the State of origin
and not from the State to which they have migrated. (Vide Govt. of India Letter
No.BC/16014/1/82-SC & BCD/Dated: 22nd February 1985).6
6.4 Seats reserved for Children or Spouse of Service / Ex-service personnel (Defence) are
to be filled up by such candidates under the Direct category only.(Appendix II –
D).
6.5 Seats reserved for physically handicapped will be filled up by the candidate having
locomotory disorders of lower limbs between 50% to 70%. Provided that in case any
seat in this 3% Quota remain unfilled on account of unavailability of candidates then
such unfilled seat/s shall be filled up by candidates with locomotory disability of
lower limbs between 40% to 50% .If still they are unfilled then such unfilled seats
will be included in the unreserved category. (vide Notification No-MCI-18(1)/2008-
Med./54470 dt. 25.03.2009)
6.6 Candidates claiming under Green Card category must produce the Green Card in
original of their parents, and must not have taken the privilege of reservation using the
same card before. The facts & figures mentioned in the Green C ard must tally with
other relevant certificates submitted. In case of any discrepancy the claim under Green
card reservation will not be considered. However he will be treated under unreserved
category.
7. DOCUMENT TO BE SUBMITTED ALONG WITH APPLICATION DULY SIGNED:
An applicant for P.G. (Medical) admission must submit self-attested
photocopies of following documents.
7.1 Original and a xerox copy of the Bank Draft of `. 1500 /-(Rupees one thousand five
hundred only) drawn in favour of “Entrance Examination Fees” payable at State
Bank of India, HOD Branch (Code No-10249).
7.2 Certificate of Board of Secondary Education / Matriculation / 10th Class Pass
Certificate or equivalent in support of date of birth of the candidate.
7.3 M.B.B.S. Degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate issued by the concerned
University.
7.4 Completion Certificate of Compulsory Rotatory Internship (Houseman ship), issued
by the Principal / Superintendent of the Medical College / Hospital concerned,
showing that he / she has completed or would complete the same by 31st March, 2012.
7.5 Permanent Medical Registration Certificate State / Central Medical Council.
7.6 Adequate postage stamps to be affixed in the space provided for in the
Application Form i.e. in Acknowledgement Card and Admit card.
7.7 Four attested recent colour photographs of size 40x50mm should be attached to the
space provided in the Application Form, Admit Card, Attendance Card and Medical
Certificate (Appendix-IV).
7.8 Certificate from competent authorities in support of eligibility criteria claimed under
Clause No.5 (Appendix II-A to D as applicable).7
7.9 In-service & Direct candidates who at the time of application are in employment under
State Govt. of Odisha / Govt. of Odisha undertaking, must submit a certificate from the
concerned C.D.M.O. (s) or appropriate authorities in support of his / her claim, stating
therein chronologically as per the format of Appendix II (A).
7.10 Tribe / Caste Certificate (for ST/SC Candidates) from a Revenue Officer not
below the rank of Tahasildar of the concerned area (in the Form No.V in
Appendix II-C).
7.11 In case of candidate claiming to be Physically Handicapped (PH), Certificate issued
by Panchayat Raj Department, Government of Odisha / District Social Welfare
Officer authorized by Government / Women and Child Welfare Department, Govt. of
Odisha.
7.12 Certificate in support of children or spouse of service personnel / ex-service
personnel (Appendix II-D)
7.13 Candidates claiming eligibility under Clause No. 6.1.3 are required to furnish
“Sponsorship Certificate” (in original) in the prescribed proforma in Appendix-III.
7.14 Xerox copy of the Green Card. They are to produce the Original Green card at the time of
Counselling.
7.15 Copy of letter of intimation to the employer as per Clause.6.2.1(note).
7.16 College Leaving Certificate from the institutio n last attended.
8. PROCEDURE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION:
8.1 Application form and the relevant formats in appendices in prospectus are to be
obtained from the website i.e. www.dmetorissa.gov.in. (Click ALL EXAMINATIONS)
and complete application in prescribed form along with relevant documents is to be sent
to “Convenor, P.G. (Medical) Selection Committee-2012, & Dean & Principal,
M.K.C.G. Medical College, Berhampur, Odisha, Pin – 760004 by Registered Post
/ Speed Post only. Application received by any other mode shall be re jected.
8.2 All relevant documents should be tagged (not stapled) together with
the Application Form securely and serially as mentioned in Clause 7.
8.3 Not more than one application should be sent in one envelope. In case, more than one
application is received in one envelope, all shall be rejected.
8.4 Application received incomplete in any respect or after the prescribed last date / hour
or addressed to any agency other than the Convenor shall be rejected.
8.5 Request for any alteration, addition, correction or modification etc. of entries in the
application already submitted will not be entertained.8
9. METHOD OF SELECTION OF CANDIDATES :
9.1 Candidates belonging to both direct and in-service category shall be selected through
an Entrance Examination. The Entrance Examination shall be conducted at the centre
as to be decided by the Selection Committee. No. TA/DA will be paid for attending
the said Examination.
9.2 There shall be one paper of three and half hours duration containing 300
multiple-choice questions in English divided into two parts. Part-I shall consist
of Non-clinical (Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry) and Para-clinical(Pharmacology,
FMT, Pathology, Microbiology, Community Medicine) and Part-II shall consist of
Clinical (Gen. Medicine, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, TB & CD, Skin & VD, Gen. Surgery,
Orthopaedic Surgery, O & G, Ophthalmology, ENT, Anaesthesi ology, Radiodiagnosis,
Radiotherapy) subjects.
9.3 The questions in both parts shall be of MBBS standard and shall cover all the
subjects of MBBS Course.
9.4 All questions will be of multiple choice type(MCQ) & there shall be four different c hoices
for each question out of which only one is correct . Candidates should choose the correct
choice amongst them.
10.CONDUCT OF EXAMINATION :
10.1 The Entrance Examination will be conducted at centres as would be decided by the
PG (Medical) Selection Committee – 2012 on the date and time as will be
indicated in the Admit Card.
10.2 Request for change of Examination Centre is not permissible.
10.3 A candidate, who does not possess either the Original or the duplicate Admit Card issued by
the Convenor, shall not be allowed to the Exam ination Hall under any circumstances.
10.4 Candidates are to occupy their seats 30 minutes before the commencement of the
Examination.
10.5 No candidate shall be allowed to enter the Examination Hall after commencement of
the Examination. Similarly, no candidate will be allowed to leave the
Examination Hall before the examination is over.9
10.6 No candidate shall be allowed to carry any textual material printed or written, except
Admit Card (without envelope) into the Hall.
10.7 Shifting or change of seats shall be counted as an act of misconduct and
candidate shall forfeit the right to continue writing further in the Examination.
10.8 The candidate shall maintain silence and attend to his / her paper only. Any one
causing disturbance in the Examination Hall shall forfeit the right to continue
writing further in the Examination.
10.9 Separate sealed packets of Question and Answer Booklets (Q & A Booklet)
shall be opened and given to the candidates 5 minutes before the commencement of the
Examination.
10.10 Candidates are to count the number of pages of the Q & A Booklets and examine
for any defect before writing and report the discrepancy, to the Invigilator with in
10 minutes of receiving the Q & A booklet for rectification and thereafter no further
complain will be entertained.
10.11 Except putting the relevant entries in the Q & A Booklets as instructed, any
additional writing, overwriting or any other marks in any form, disfiguring, folding,
mutilating, soiling of the Q & A Booklet shall deemed to be an act of misconduct and
shall be liable for cancellation of his / her Booklet.
10.12 In case the candidate finished answering earlier, he / she shall hand over the
Q & A Booklet personally to the concerned invigilator of the hall and remain
seated in the allotted seat till the examination is over.
10.13 Any other instruction issued to the candidates in the Examination hall shall be
treated as part of the Prospectus.
10.14 The decision of the Centre Superintendent shall be FINAL AND CONCLUSIVE
regarding the conduct of candidate in the Examination Hall / Centre.
10.15 C a r r y i n g of Cellular Phones, Pagers, Calculators and any other electronic
communication equipment are strictly prohibited. Anyone found to have any electronic
gadget in the hall will forfeit the right to continue in the examination. The gadget and the Q
& A booklet will be seized. The gadget will be returned after the decision of the Board
members. Hence the candidates should not bring any such prohibited items to the venue
of examination as there is no provision to keep them at the venue.10
11. EVALUATION OF ANSWERS OF ENTRANCE EXAMINATION :
11.1 All questions will be single response objective type (Multiple Choice) only. The marks
will be awarded as follows :

Note: During the process of evaluation if any question or its choice answers are found to be ambiguous
then the same question(s) shal l be evaluated by pro-rata basis as per the Judgment of Hon’ble
Supreme Court, passed in the case of Pankaj Sharma & others vs. State of Jammu Kashmir &
others.
11.2 ADDITIONAL WEIGHTAGE:
Those candidates who ar e in employment in Govt. of Odisha/ Govt of
Odisha under taking ( Both dir ect & in -ser vice), and, have qualified in the
Entrance Examination and have worked in Rural/ Tribal / Backward areas (as per the
list vide G.O. No. 325/H Dt.03.01.1997) shall be awarded an additional weightage of
10% of the marks secured in the P.G. Entrance Examination per year of completion of
service (in Rural / Tribal / Backward areas), subject to maximum of 30% of marks
secured in entrance examination. vide MCI Notification No. 51210/ dt. 17.11.2009.
12. RESULTS :
12.1 Candidates securing 40% or more in case of SC/ST candidates, 45% or more for
candidates with locomotory disabilities of lower limbs and 50% of total marks or more in
case of all other candidates in the Entrance Examination shall be eligible for selection
and provisional merit lists (one for in-service and one for direct) shall be prepared of all
the eligible candidates only, category wise after adding the credit marks as per Clause
11.2.
12.2 The Merit lists shall be published in the website i.e. www.dmetorissa.gov.in
(Click ALL EX AMIN ATIONS ). The result of the individual candidate will not be
intimated by post.
12.3 In case of tie the ranking shall be decided in order of preference as under:
Candidate securing higher marks in Part-II portion of Entrance Examination are placed
higher. If again there is a tie, the elder, according to the date of birth, will get
preference over the younger.11

13.COUNSELLING FOR ALLOTMENT OF SUBJECT AND COLLEGE :
The candidate will be selected for admission by Counselling from the provisional Merit
lists prepared.
13.1 The merit list along with details of counselling shall be made available through a
notice published along with themerit list published in web site.
13.2 No TA / DA shall be paid for attending the Counselling.
13.3 Allotment of subject and College shall be made to the candidates on their
personal appearance at Counsel ling.
13.3.1The candidate shall exercise his / her option in writing while choosing the Subject and
College. Option once exercised is FIRM and FINAL and cannot be changed
under any circumstances during that Counselling.
13.4 During Counselling the candidates must produce the original Admit Card along with
the original documents (Copies of which they have already submitted with the
Application Form) failing which allotment of seats will not be considered.
13.5 If a candidate fails to turn-up for Counselling in the stipulated time, he / she shall be
given an opportunity at the end of the scheduled Counselling of that day. He / She shall
be allotted out of the unfilled available seats, if any, but he / she shall not have the right
to claim a seat as per his / her position in the merit list.
13.6 If a candidate fails to turn-up on the scheduled date for Counselling, he / she would
forfeit his / her claim.
13.7 The Selection Committee may go for second round of Counselling for filling up of the
vacant seats arising from any reasons on another date during which no reservation will
be followed. The seats will be filled up as per the merit only. N o admission will be
allowed beyond the cut-off date i.e. 31st May 2012.
Note: Subject wise unfilled “All India Seats”, r etur ne d to State if any, will be e q ua l l y
distributed among In-service and Direct candidates as far as practicable, and will be filled up in
the 2
nd
counselling in merit basis from the Common list. No reservation will be considered for these
seats. In the event of surrender of any category of seat, during 2
nd
counselling, that will merge in
the Common category only. For example “if a ST category seat is surrendered during 2
nd
counselling, it will merge in Common category seats and will be available to the r emaining
candidates of the Common merit list at that point of time. No ST candidate of the Common list shall
claim the same seat under reserved category ”.12
14.SELECTION OF CANDIDATES :
14.1 Candidates shall be selected in order of merit from each category for admission by
Counselling(1

round) and the order of Counselling shall be ST (in-service), SC
(in service), PH (in-service), Green Card (in-service), Common (in service), ST (Direct),
SC (Direct), PH (Direct), Children for Service /Ex-service Personnel (Direct), Green
Card (Direct),Common (Direct) candidates.
14.2 Selection of ST / SC candidates:
14.2.1In case of non-availability of eligible ST (in-service) candidates, the unfilled
Seats of their quota will be merged with SC (In-service) seats and the total seats thus
derived shall be filled – up by SC (In-service) candidates.
14.2.2 The unfilled SC (in-service) seats if any shall be merged with the In-Service(Common
list). In case of non availability of candidates in In -Service (Common) category the seats
will merge with Direct Category, in the respective reserve category.
14.2.3 In case of non-availability of ST (Direct) candidates, the unfilled seats will be
merged with SC (Direct) seats and the total seats thus derived shall be filled up by SC
(Direct) candidates. In case of non availability of seats in SC category the seats will
merge in Direct Common category.
14.3 Selection of Physically Handicapped Candidates:
14.3.1 If eligible physical ly handicapped candidates (in-service) are not available, the
seats shall be filled up by Common (in-service). If again remain unfilled it will merge in
PH (direct) and if still remain unfilled it will merge in Common (Direct) category.
14.4 If eligible candidates under quota of Children / Spouse of Service / Ex-service
personnel are not available, the seats shall be filled up by Common (Direct)
candidates.
14.5 In-case of non-availability of in-service Green Card candidates, the seats will merge in t he
in-service Common category. If still remain unfilled it will merge in GC (direct). If again not
filled then it will merge in Common ( direct) category.
14.6 Selection of Unreserved Candidates :
14.6.1 In case of non-availability of candidates against Unreserved (in-service) seats, the
seats will be filled up by Unreserved (Direct) candidates.
15. ADMISSION AND JOINING:
15.1 Candidates will be admitted to the respective Colleges as per their choice through
their personal appearance at the Counselling centre. Their declaration for choice of
subject / college will be firm & final during that Counselling.13
15.2 A candidate selected for admission in Govt. Medical Colleges, shall have to deposit
the following fees payable at the time of admission.
a. Admission fees (one time) ` 300/-
b. Consolidated tuition fees per term (Per annum) `. 6000/-
c. Library fees (per annum) `. 200/-
d. Journal fees (per annum) `. 1000/-
e. Fees for issue of Identity card (one time `. 20/-

15.2.1 The candidates seeking admission in HITECH Medical C ollege & Hospital, Bhubaneswar,
are to pay a sum of Rs. 4,50,000/- (Rupees four lacs & fifty thousand only) per anum with
an additional amount of `.15,000/- towards admission process for General quota and
`. 5,00,000/-(Rupees five lacs only) per anum for management quota . Apart from these the
optional costs as approved by Govt. are as under: (vide GO No. I-TTI-102/2011/ 9456 to
9458 Dt. 15.07.2011)
a) Hostel Cost `.18,000/- per year per student (own hostel)
`.10,000/- per year per student ( rented hostel)
b) Transportation cost `. 8,000/- up to 20 km and `.12,000 for more than that
for full year.
c) Pre-placement training `. 8,000/- for total course subject to maximum of
`. 4,000/- per year.
d) Uniform & Blazer The cost of uniform provided by the Colleges shall not
exceed `.1,500/- and for blazer and uniform together
provided by the college shall not exceed `. 4,000/-
e) Caution money `. 2,500/-

15.3 The courses of study and the registration of candidates for post-graduate study at
the respective colleges in the subjects concerned will be regulated by the
University to which the Medical College is affiliated.
15.4 The Medical Fitness Certificate (Appendix No. IV) must be produced by the
candidate at the time of joining.
15.5 If any candidate does not join or leaves after joining the PG Course, then the candidate
concerned shall not be considered for selection in the next three academic sessions
of the PG Course and the stipend / salary already received by him/her will have to be
refunded.14
16. ATTENDANCE :
16.1 PG Students are to perform the duties as assigned to them by the Professor
concerned and attend required theory and practical classes and departmental
seminars regularly.
16.2 PG Students are entitled to avail 15 days leave during each year of study with the
permission of the Head of the Institution, but such leave should not exceed 10 days at a
stretch. However the maternity leave if taken is allowed but the candidate has to repeat
the leave period in excess of 15 days.
16.3 Absence beyond the total period of 15 days without prior permission of the
Professor & Head of the concerned Department and Dean &Principal of the College
concerned shall be seriously viewed and the candidate may forfeit the right to
continue.
16.4 All candidates on joining the PG Course shall work full time during the period of
training attending not less than 80% of the training during each calendar year.
17. SALARY AND STIPEND (FOR GOVT. INSTITUTIONS):
17.1 PG Students admitted against direct quota seats will be paid stipend at rates
prescribed by the Government of Odisha from time to time subject to satisfactory
performance of duties and maintenance of discipline and decorum.
17.2 Stipend /Leave Salary of in-service PG students under employment of Government of
Odisha will be governed by the Resolution No.20385/H, Dt: 05-07-1976 & No.38447/F,
Dt: 29-07-1980 and such other Government orders as may be issued from time to time.
17.3 The period of PG study of In-service category of candidates under regular
employment of Government of Odisha (not on ad-hoc or contractual basis)
admitted into PG Courses shall be governed as per the existing service rules and
executive instructions thereon.
18. HOSTEL (FOR GOVT. INSTITUTIONS ONLY):
18.1 Hostel accommodation being limited in all Colleges, cannot be guaranteed for
all and allotment of seats in the Hostel will be made by the Dean & Principal of
the concerned College to the needy and deserving students according to availability.

19. MISCELLANEOUS :
19.1 No correspondence of any kind will be entertained.
19.2 All PG Degree holders when appointed to the post of specialist in the relevant
disciplines and opt not to join the same shall be liable to refund the leave salary/pay
and allowances actually paid to him/her during the period of study besides any
disciplinary action as may be decided by the Government.
19.3 Without prejudice to the conditions stipulated for submission of application/
selection/admission in the foregoing paragraphs of this prospectus, a candidate
who is suffering/has suffered from mental disease, drug addiction or has been convicted
for any criminal offence shall not be selected/admitted and will be
disqualified for prosecuting the course further even though he/she may have been
eligible for selection/admission under the provision of this prospectus.
Concealment/misrepresentation about mental illness, drug addiction and criminal
conviction shall be liable for disqualification.
19.4 A selected candidate shall be required to produce all original documents including the
Original College Leaving Certificate/Transfer Certificate at the time of Counselling.
He/She has to appear before a Medical Board(s) constituted for the purpose to
decide his/her Medical Fitness.
19.5 In all matters relating to eligibility or otherwise of a candidate for registration,
sitting in entrance examination, selection and admission into PG courses, the
decision of PG (Medical) Selection Committee shall be final.
19.6 If any candidate does not receive his/her Admit Card, he/she can contact
personally to the Convenor, PG (Medical) Selection Committee – 2012, two days
before the commencement of the Entrance Examination for issue of a duplicate Admit
Card. Such candidates are required to submit an application on plain paper along with
two attested colour 40x50mm size photographs and the Acknowledgement Card.
19.7 All admissions are subject to production of Medical Fitness Certificate in the form as in
Appendix – IV.

INSTRUCTION TO THE CANDIDATES
1. Admit card must be produced before the Invigilator / Supervising Officer of the Entrance Examination for
verification. A candidate without the valid Admit Card shall be debarred from appearing the Entrance
Examination.
2. The candidate should report one and half hour before the commencement of Entrance Examination at the
Centre (8.30A.M.) and occupy his / her seat 30 minutes before the commencement of examination (i.e.
9:30 A.M).
3. No candidate shall be allowed to the examination hall after the commencement of examination. No
candidate will be allowed to leave the hall till the end of examination. Temporary absence from the hall
for any reason is strictly prohibited.
4. Candidates should not bring any article including pen. One pen per candidate will be provided at the entrance to
the Centre or inside the hall.
5. The candidates are not allowed to carry any sheet of paper, written or blank, except their Admit Cards without
envelope to the Examination Hall.
6. No T.A and D.A. will be paid for app earing the Entrance Examination.
7. No candidate will be allowed to enter the main building of the centre of examination with any electronic
communicating device like mobile phone, pen cameras, pager, and calculators etc.
8. There will be a check- in of candidates at the entrance of the centre. Any prohibited item as above if found during
the check-in will be removed at the gate and it will be the sole responsibility of the candidate for the safe custody
of article.
9. Any candidate subsequently found to be carrying or using any electronic communicating gadget inside the
examination hall will be expelled from the hall and his/her candidature w ill be rejected. The electronic gadget will
be seized by the authority and will be returned only after the recommendation of the board members.
10. Talking, gossiping, or doing any sort of malpractice will lead to cancellation of candidature and will be r emoved
from examination hall
