The candidates in the Reserve List will be considered for allotment
from the respective categories against the vacancies caused due to
any of the following reasons:
(i) Non-joining duty of selected candidates.
(ii) Selected candidates who joined duty but left thereafter.
(iii) Cancellation of Provisional selection of the selected candidates
for any reason.
The Reserve List is valid till the drawal of the next select list for
this post by the Commission.
The selection / placement in the reserve list is purely
provisional subject to the final outcome of the OAs / WPs relating
to this recruitment pending on the files of Hon’ble High Court,
Madras / Madurai Bench of Hon’ble High Court, Madras.

    I have been selected in the Final List of General TNPSC-2009 {Asst. Surgeon -General}.
    When will be the counseling for allotment sir?
    I have joined PG this year. Depending on the time of counseling only, I will be able to decide whether to join service or continue with the PG.
    Will they publish a list of vacancies prior to the allotment day sir?
    Kindly provide the necessary information sir.

  5. Counceling for Selection List of General TNPSC 2009 Called for :
    Don’t know when counceling starts and ends. my friend was called for 30-NOV-2010 at Egmore family health center. Today We got letter for counselling.

  6. General TNPSC 2009 Selected List Counselling Updates :

    1.)All type of 10 a(1) candidates are allowed to retain their current place or choosing new place according to their willingness expect Mobile Medical Units candidates.Mobile Medical Units 10 a(1) candidates have to choose any PHC’s.

    2.)Only DPH and DMS vacancies are declared outside the counselling hall. DME vacancies are kept secret inside and given to Candidates who blocked the seat by giving the money early.

    DME/DMS/DPH announced the following 4 categories at Counselling.

    Category 1: Those joined in 10 a(1) and got selected in General TNPSC 2009 and Special TNPSC 2009
    Date of Regularization = Date of joining as 10 a(1)

    Category 2: Those joined in 10 a(1) and got selected in General TNPSC 2009 and Didn’t appeared/selected in Special TNPSC 2009
    Date of Regularization = Date of appointment as TNPSC Candidate. Their Previous 10 a(1) Service was not considered. They have to serve another 2 years Service from Date of appointment as TNPSC Candidate for Service PG eligibility

    category 3: Those joined in 10 a(1) in Mobile Medical Units and got selected in General TNPSC 2009
    Date of Regularization = Date of appointment as TNPSC Candidate. Their Previous 10 a(1) Service was not considered. They have to serve another 2 years Service from Date of appointment as TNPSC Candidate for Service PG eligibility. They have to opt for PHC’s.

    Category 4: Those doing PG now and got selected in General TNPSC 2009
    Here 2 options are given.
    1.) Those willing to continue PG are not allowed to take seat. They have to submit a letter saying they will continue PG and ask them to consider their TNPSC selection in future. Then DME/DMS will send request note to Government for considering them as TNPSC candidate in future after completing their PG. Once government accepts they will be called for counselling in future,But they will be placed in CML list below to the Candidates joining now irrespective of current TNPSC seniority number.
    2.) Those willing to join service now, have to discontinue their PG. They have to get an letter for PG Discontinuation from DME and surrender it. Then only the posting order for the seat taken has to be given.

  7. This is RR.Vadivelraajan from vellore. Sir i have written Group 2 examination on 11.04.2010. waiting for results now. Sir just small doubt.

    i am a tenth+diploma+Correspondence deree holder. may i eligible for Gr.2 post?
