Karnataka High Court stays MCI notification. CET / NEET

BANGALORE: Passing an interim order the Karnataka High Court on Monday stayed the notification issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI) on conducting a common National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate medical courses.
After hearing a petition filed by Karnataka Private Medical and Dental Colleges’ Association and Karnataka Linguistic Minority Professional Colleges Association, Justice S Abdul Nazeer passed the order.
