
NIMHANS 2013-14 : INSTRUCTIONS TO THE APPLICANTS FOR FILLING IN THE APPLICATION

FILL IN THE APPLICATION WITH BLOCK LETTERS.
Copies of all the Certificates supporting the claim made in the application must be enclosed.
Experience Certificate should be enclosed if applicable
Employees of the State Government or of any Public Sector Undertaking should send their application through their employer.

Applicants from Foreign Universities/Countries must submit their applications through the Diplomatic Channel (through the Ministry of External Affairs)
The candidate should have completed compulsory rotation internship of one year after MBBS or its equivalent recognized by Medical Council of India on or before the date of commencement of course. A certificate to that effect has to be produced. The candidate should have permanent registration with State Medical Council. In case of Candidates who have not completed the Internship and have not registered with any State Medical council, but are selected in the counseling, will not be considered for admission unless the Internship Completion Certificate and the State Medical Council Registration Certificate are produced on or before the date of commencement of course failing which, the seat allotted will be cancelled without any further communication and the Candidate next in the order of Merit in the waiting list will be considered.
For Non-Medical courses, candidates should bring the results of their qualifying examination as on the date of Counseling
Incomplete Application and Applications in any other format other than Online will be rejected
Applicant should also submit a Declaration duly signed and also a Declaration from Parent/Spouse/Guardian of the Applicant.
Candidates eligible to take the Online Entrance Test should download their Hall Tickets which will be posted on the website. The Hall Tickets will not be sent by post
The Application fee for both Medical & Non-Medical courses is Rs.1500/- per course for General candidates and Rs.1000/- per course for SC/ST candidates. The Application Fee for Post Basic Diploma in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing and Post Basic Diploma in Neurosciences Nursing will be Rs 1000/- per Course for general candidates and Rs 750/- per course for SC/ST candidates.
Application will be available online from 15th November 2012 to 14th December 2012
Last date for accepting Application Abstract with the latest photograph affixed, Bank Challan and relevant enclosures by post/Courier is 19th December 2012
