CIRCULAR
Sub: Tamil Nadu Medical Services –Transfer Counselling for
Medical Officers who have completed their Post
Graduation in 2011 – Certain Instructions issued and
Schedule communicated – Regarding.

It is proposed to conduct Transfer counseling for Medical Officers who have
completed their Post Graduation during 2011 as Service / Non Service candidates.
The counseling schedule for the above Medical Officers are enclosed in the
Annexure. The Heads of the institutions are directed to communicate the enclosed
Proforma to the said Medical Officers without fail.
1. The Annexed proforma along with the Complete Service Particulars of the
Medical Officer (as per Service Register) have to be filled up and 2 copies
have to be sent to this Directorate by the concerned Head of the Institutions
before 16.03.2012 positively.
2. Only Medical Officers whose proforma which have been verified and certified
by Dean / Head of Institutions as the case may be and received on or before
5 pm on 16.03.2012 in the office of this Directorate will ONLY be considered
for counselling.
3. Non Service Post Graduates of 2011 who are on compulsory service should
bring the Appointment order issued by the Director of Public Health and
Preventive Medicine, Chennai and Posting order issued by the Director of
Medical Education, Chennai along with his/her complete Service Particulars.
4. The Medical Officers who have availed leave for more than 15 days inclusive
of CL and COL etc. ,are not eligible for attending transfer counseling. -2-
5. It is informed that furnishing wrong information in the proforma or in the
Service Particulars will be viewed seriously and liable for action as per
Government rules.
6. Medical Officers working under the control of this Directorate alone are
eligible to attend the counselling.
7. The Head of the Institutions should furnish the following certificates duly
attested by the Dean / Administrative Officer with institution round seal along
with the Proforma and Service particulars before 16.03.2012 positively.
1. MBBS Degree Certificate
2. TN. Medical Council Registration Certificate (MBBS)
3. PG Degree/Diploma Certificate
4. TN. Medical Council Registration Certificate (PG Degree/Diploma)
