    dear doctors
tnpgee rank list will be released shortly. good. but around 1500 10a1 doctors has written the examination. they were assured by the selection committee that they will be considered as service candidate only if they cleared tnpsc at the time of counselling. how foolishly they were assured?. for the service candidate additional marks will be awarded for those who are working in the rural aswell as hilly area.counscelling willbe conducted after the releas of rank list. for preparing rank list service status is mandatory. considering them as service candidate if they passed the tnpsc at the time of counscelling is senseless. how will they add extra marks at the time of counscelling with out re suffling the excisting rank list?.so release of rank list is not definitely shortly.selection comittee issearching something in dark room

jyoti first service candidate means service of 2 or more years. they should be selected through tnpsc or clear the tnpsc after appointed under 10a1.around 1500 10a1 doctors has written tnpgee and tnpsc and awaiting for the result.if they clear tnpsc they will be considered as service candidate and they can avail all the benifits of service candidate.in many hud including my hud 10a1 doctors application were forwarded as service candidate by the concern ddhs.it will take minimum 6 to one year for the tnpsc to release the result. unfortunately the selection committee did not announce any cut off date for the 10a1 doctors to clear tnpsc.if it was done so, it will be very easy for them to release the rank.they have eaten salt they should drink lot of water.

Details of CASE NO : 1 seeking
release of TNPSC selection list before
    TNPG Feb 2010 Merit List
    PETITIONER NAME : PUNIDHA
    VARDHINI R ( Entrance No : 66162 )
    MARKS FOR 90 : 60.84
    Petitioner has appeared for the
    special qualifying examination on 29
    – 11 -2009 and has completed three
years of rural PHC service and
currently working in Velliyur ( Rural
PHC ). Petitioner currently has a total
    score of 60.84 + 8 ( experience
marks ) which makes her total to
    68.84
Since Petitioner wants to pursue her
PG in OBG , she needs two marks for
her rural service so that her final
    score would be 70.84
Petitioner will not eligible for the
extra above said 2 additional rural
marks as TNPSC is yet to finalize the
    final selection list
    Petitioner has quoted that around
    1500 10 A 1 candidates will be
denied of all their benefits inspite of
    having rendered rural service for
the purpose of getting PG seat
and this is why Petitioner wanted
DME to publish the TNPG FEB 2010
merit list only after the release of
    TNPSC selection list

Since this case is very strong , DME
has no other option but to wait for
    TNPSC MERIT LIST
    According to authentic info from
TNPSC , For sure ORAL TEST will be
    conducted .They also added that
they will finish ORAL TEST within two
days. But still we don’t know when
TNPSC will release the selection list .
Since counselling is only in the 1st
    week of April [ 6th April , 2010 ] ,
we are expecting DME to come out
with the final merit list only in the
    last week of MARCH

hi friends…pgaspirant has made it clear with proof that it is the 10a1 issue is the root cause of the delay in publishing of rank list.but the case has a few loopholes.just because the lady has finished 3 yrs of service and has given tnpsc special exam does not mean that she can become eligible for service pg status.the results have to come.this much is very clear to all of us.
now the case presented is to speed up the publishing of the spl tnpsc results before april 1st week,by which selection committee will HAVE to start counselling if it has to finish the admission process according to MCI deadline.this seems bleak as the interview has not been conducted.
in case the results are announced before counselling,it will be unjust to all the regular service candidates since it means that the entrance results which were supposed to come on 26th march were delayed by the 10a1 candidates for their own ends.it would add to the competition among service candidates, esp for those in the 65-70 mark range(out of 100).
tnpsc usually takes months to publish results.then why should it announce this particular result so soon?regular tnpsc that was conducted in 2008 i think for medical officers post result is still pending…then how can a special tnpsc conducted in late 2009 result be announced so soon?
has the court ordered a stay on the publication of rank list?if not,the DME is not obliged to wait for the tnpsc results at all.this delay on part of the DME is not acceptable if the 10a1 doctors are the reason for it.
there is also news that a G.O might be issued to include 10a1 as regular service candidates.if so,the govt has got no right or power to interfere in the selection process of the DME.
therefore the service candidates have to be aware of the developments in the next week to safeguard their interests.

Some medical officers of the previous batch of 10a1 candidates had to wait for more than 4 yrs to write special tnpsc, for more than 4 months for final results and only then applied for the pg exam.if this is right then they were the losers for so many years…
what about the remaining 10a1 candidates who have not filed a case?this lady has filed a case only because she has scored high marks.if she was really concerned she should have filed a case before the marks were published.(on seeing the prospectus itself)!!

yes dr. pasupathi….u r right….many 10 a 1 candidates havent written the exams in our hud salem too….and also onething….all these cases of queries should have been filed before the exam itself (at the time of applying for the exam )….why come filing the case at the time of final results and delaying everything like this……total confusion………ok….what will be the fate of all of us ? let us wait and see ?

We are working in rural area for more than 3 yrs. But Lot of candidates in 10a1 got their posting after pg diplmo as complsry service. They were not willing to go for copmlsry service at that time. But at this time they are first in the race to go out from phc . Now they need that 2 valuable rural service marks. Getting pg is a right to all. But they should have wait till their turn.

Hi doctors..i think the case is handled by Mrs. Nalini Chidambaram.
Regarding issuing a G.O. allowing 10a1 as ‘service’ candidates, it cannot happen bcoz the Prospectus is clear that only TNPSC ‘selected’ candidates r eligible to come under Service Quota. It’ll also be Contempt of High Court Ruling of 2008 of a similar case.
Regarding the present case, if the court orders publishing TNPSC 2009 Nov results and speeding up the process, what about those who took the Feb 2009 TNPSC? Obviously the Commission cannot declare Spl Exam results without declaring Regular(feb 2009) results.
    Lets Hope For The Best!!!!

im ready to file a case if any new go issued for 10a1 candidates.we the regular tnpsc candidates suffer a lot in phcs due to the cmcs and 10a1 candidates they just come and join and use the influnce and opt for better places.affect the transfer chance of regular TNPSC candidates.they write a tnpsc for eye wash now creating problem in delaying results.

Many 10(a)1 doctors have completed 3 years of governtment service. The tnpsc should have conducted exams long back. Its not the fault of 10(a)1 doctors that tnpsc exams were delayed. It is only fair to include the 10(a)1 doctors as service candidates.

TNPG 2010 rank list without the inclusion of 10(A)1 service candidates will become invalid and infructuous since they have applied through concerned DDs after completion of the mandatory 2years continuous service in PHCs. Since six months are already lapsed TNPSC cannot buy anymore time to interview the departmental candidates and declare their results. Also TNPSC can raise to the occasion to complete the job by keeping in mind the future prospects of departmental candidates working for the government hospitals. If not so they may have to resign their jobs to join their PG courses after selection which may result in mass vacancies in Govt hospitals which is avoidable and undesirable in public health point of view.Hon’ble Deputy CM, Health minister and DME may do justice to the doctors working for Govt hospitals and to make them to serve the Govt after their PG Courses.Justice will also be done through the cases filed/ being filed with the prayer as above.TNGDA may also apraise the authorities to act fast to get the going right.

    dear doctors
the tnpsc is a autonomous body to conduct various recruitment examination. it is not only for conducting tnpsc for assistant surgeon. so compull them to release the result is unfair. i advice the 10a1 doctors that they came to service for employment and working for salary.if they are recruited through tnpsc and if they put a minimum of 2 years service they will automatically get all the benifits of service candidate. please study hard and get what you want. do not try to give backdoor entry. we also got thrugh all the formalities and waiting for the best. dear regular doctors it is the time to show our unity and fight it out. by doing this only we can avoid unnecessary political influenses in the selection process in the near future

sir this delay in publishing the merit list by the DME is unprecedented in the recent past….so what is the reason for this delay….since the number of seats increased has been announced more than 10 days ago,the DME reason for delay in its website does not hold water…are they taking so much time to decide date of counselling and seat matrix if they could correct papers in 1 day?!i wonder!this makes the candidates suspicious of illegal activities, political pressure etc in deciding the seat matrix, manipulating the merit list and delaying it to allow entry to certain sections of candidates.otherwise in the absence of any stay by court or any such obstacles, the merit list should have been released by now.no point in criticising the candidates for their suspicion…they have good reasons to be suspicious.
the only way for the DME to come clean is by releasing the list and dates for counselling at the earliest.if the 10a1 candidates succeed in getting results by the start of counselling,it is another story…but a date should nevetherless be announced soon if the DME has its hands clear in this issue.otherwise,it is being a part of the delaying tactics that are helpful to nobody other than the 10a1 friends…and that is blatant partiality.

Friends many doctors joined on their own/ compulsory service for those who finished PG as 10(a)1 candidates. All are working for TN governtment only.In our GH itself there are 5 10(a)1 doctors with 3 years service. All were selected between january to march 2007.If we wait for another year we will get only 1 additional service mark. But those in PHC would get 2 marks. Some doctors in this website have advised the 10(a)1 doctors to wait. But when their TNPSC results got delayed they staged demonstration infront of TNPSC office many times.

getting a post in a G.H or PHC is destiny sir….luck, money and political influence matters..
nothing can be done about marks aallotted for service, the docs inPHC sy that in rural areas we get only 2 marks, but in hills the docs get 3 marks.among the hill docs the MO from thalavady in erode dist dont get 3 marks, even though it is a hilly region…all these are govt policies that we cant do much about.

the point is ….how fair is it to delay results of pg exam to wait for spl tnpsc results.

Why people are reacting at the last moment and filing the case??? Ideally they should have filed the case as soon as the application forms are issued. This is ridiculous.

What you are saying is perfect and correct.

But Our People think that they are over smart…. See TNPG, TNPSC, 10A1, Court Case, Results – History Revisited to know the entire problem

The present 10A1 batch missed a golden oppurtunity in 2007 – by not filing the case

Here too they should have filed it earlier. Now the time is too short
