I have correctly answered 164 questions out of 250. My mark is 164*0.36=59.04 out of 90. But in the rank list, mark difference between 2 candidates is always 0.04 (for eg. 69.04 and 69)How is it possible.
    Is the rank list correct

      So explained once again

In Final Rank List : Additional Experience marks are added

That 69.04 may have been 68.04+1
That 69 may have been 63+6

    press news
    ——————————————————————————–
CHENNAI: Starting this academic year, the state medical university will ensure that half of all the postgraduate seats in private medical colleges are filled through the single-window system of counselling. Placing merit on priority in PG medical education, the university has stipulated that students admitted under the management quota to the remaining half the seats should have scored 50% marks in their UG degree.

In the past, private medical colleges affiliated to the university had not been surrendering 50% of their PG seats. This year, the government will be strict about the implementation of this rule, said university vice-chancellor Dr Mayil Vahanan Natarajan. “If they don’t, we will not register their students who then won’t be able to write exams,” he said.

Try for diploma dermatology in cmc vellore or psg coimbatore both are very good ,(since iam a dermatologist i can vouch for both the institutions) if they are offering the seats as mentioned since cmc has already finished counselling.

dr. curious dont waste ur time asking whether the pvt. colleges will surrender their seats. it will not happen voluntarily. it will happen only if the students stand strong and demand it or if the colleges are legally made to surrender it

guys pls understand that tamilnadu is the only state where private colleges are not sharing seats with the govt. in almsot all other states there is seat sharing arrangement between the govt. and teh private managements. it is true that the university had posted seat matrix which shows availability of seat sin private colleges also. it seems that unlike previous years university and health secretary are keen to fill up govt. seats in the private colleges from the TNPG rank list. however, the private colleges are not agreeing to this on the premise that supreme court decision in p.a. enamdar case is in their favour. this contention o fteh private colleges is not wholly correct. on various occassions, in fact very recently also the supreme court held that the colleges ar e bound by MCI regulations and that the MCI regulations are valid. as per teh MCI regulation the maximum number of seats that can be filled up by the management is fixed. it is only 50% of the total seats. under no circumstances can the management fill up the remaining 50% seats. The remaining 50% has to be filled up by a competent authority notified by the govt. Therefore in most of the states (i.e., in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala West Bengal etc) the remaining 50% seats are filled up by the govt. from the govt. list. i have done some enquiry about the matter aqnd i have found that last year a similar issue came up before the High court of Kerala . The private managements contended that in view of the Enamdar case they are not bound to give 50% seats to the govt. However, their contention was repelled by the High Court and all the seats earmarked as govt. seats in private colleges were filled up by the govt. from their list. This decision was given by the High Court primarly on the ground that as per MCI regulation private colleges are bound to surrender 50% of their seats. So if we need the seats in the private colleges we need to organise ourselves meet appropriate persons, demand that the seats should be filled up from teh govt. list. if necessary we should even recourse to legal action. guys 31st of may is the last date fixed by the supreme court for pg admissions. any seat remaining vacant after will lapse. so the private managements only want the issue to dragges till that date because if teh govt. do not fill up its seats by that time then the management will do on the last date stating that otherwise teh seats will get lapsed. Therefore dont blindly believe the university website. what i have said is teh truth and reality. unless we put pressure in what ever manner possible the possibility of having seats in the private colleges will only be a mirage. Therefore think and act swiftly. if any needs any further information pls. contact me at senthilraja2020@yahoo.com. We should move together and not individually

WHAT YOU ARE SAYING IS ABSOLUTELY CORRECT… LETS START ONE FORUM AND COLLECT PEOPLE .. ONLY IF WE PRESSURIZE IT WILL COME TRUE..THE SAME THING HAPPENED IN THE YEAR 2002-2003 AND STUDENTS THEN APPROACHED LAW AND GOT THEIR SEATS BACK THOUGH THE COLLEGE HAD STARTED BY MANAGENMENT CANDIDATES… KINDLY SPREAD THE INFO AND LETS ALL TOGETHER MAKE AN EFFORT

hi dr. D, i am from dental field. we r also facing the same prob. the pvt. colleges r not willing to give their seats and the govt. will not do anything. pls understand that time is the most important thing. we dont have much time to discuss. dont wait for the counselling to get over. once the counselling is over then we dont have much chance. so y cant interested people meet at some convenient place immediately. ten we can discuss and decide abt our next course of action. if we intend to do something then this is the oppurtunity. we cannot waste even a day. so all those who r interested pls respond or contact me at drliz2020@gmail.com immediately
